Frequently Asked Questions
What sub-genre of romance do you write?
The Rowdy Royals series is contemporary royal romance. It is set in modern time in a fictional European country. Many of the characters are members of the royal family. Expect plenty of trope blending as the series rolls on, but all books will follow the royals or people who are in their close orbit.
You have plans for a series?
Yes! What started as a one off story has evolved quite heavily. I originally planned to tell Prince Friedrich and Miss Aurelia’s story in one book and that was going to be that. Well, come to find out they had a lot more to say than would fit in one book! Books 1 and 2 will be Friedrich and Aurelia’s story. After that there will be books for their best friends, each of Friedrich’s siblings, and eventually his wild cousin.
Are your books spicy?
Definitely! The chili pepper scale is very subjective but I’d put my books at 3.5 chili peppers. There are graphically detailed scenes of a sexual nature, all safe, sane, and consensual, but don’t expect just plain ol’ missionary either.
What else should I know about your books?
In the Rowdy Royals series you will find mostly lighthearted stories. These are not dark romances by any means. I hope I’ve created a cast of characters that are lovable and memorable. In these pages, you’ll find people across the LGBTQ+ spectrum. You’ll find no transphobia or bi erasure here! There are also themes of religious trauma, feelings of inadequacy, parental abandonment, minor substance abuse, and all the joys and sorrows of living life as imperfect people.
